Life Coaching focuses on 5 key areas of development and helps children:
1) Develop resilience and coping skills: Children learn how to navigate the ups and downs of growing up-whether it's overcoming a mistake, dealing with a challenge, experiencing a disappointment or "failure," or facing a big change, so that they can pick themselves up again and "go for it" in life.
2) Build self-esteem from the "inside out": Children learn how to base their self-esteem on who they are so that how they feel about themselves doesn't change based on who they are with or what is happening in their lives.
3) Build confidence and belief in themselves: Children learn how to move through anxiety and fear so that they can stretch outside of their comfort zone, create courage, and go for their dreams with confidence.
4) Develop their "inner compass" and self-leadership skills: Children learn core values of self-leaders such as choosing integrity, being self-responsible, treating others with respect, and having self-respect. Children also learn how to think for themselves and make good decisions so that they can stand up to peer pressure and stay true to their values.
5) Learn to live life with intention and achieve their goals: Children learn how to create a vision for their lives and achieve their goals so that they can reach their fullest potential. They learn the brain science behind achievement and how to train their brain to support them in creating success using mindset tools such as visualization, affirmations, self-talk, and gratitude.
